General Terms and Conditions

Preamble

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) govern the contractual relationship between the operator of Time Travel in Vienna Betriebs GmbH” (hereinafter referred to as “operator” or “we”) and visitors to the attraction (hereinafter referred to as “visitor” or “customer”). By purchasing an admission ticket or entering the attraction, the visitor agrees to these GTC and the house rules.

1. scope of application

1.1. These GTC apply to all services and offers of the operator, in particular to the sale of admission tickets (online and on site) and visits to the “Timetravel” and “Sisi’s Amazing Journey” attractions

1.2. Deviating terms and conditions of the customer are not recognized unless the operator expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

2. conclusion of contract and tickets

2.1. The contract for visiting the attraction is concluded with the purchase of a valid admission ticket.

2.2. When purchasing e-tickets online, the contract is concluded by completing the order process on the operator’s website and acceptance by the operator.

2.3. The ticket entitles the holder to one admission to the attraction on the date and at the time specified.

2.4. Admission tickets may not be used for commercial purposes (e.g. resale at inflated prices) without the prior consent of the operator.

2.5. Copying or altering online tickets is a criminal offense and will be reported to the police.

2.6. Customers have the option of correcting or changing the data entered again in the ticket store process (under “Contact details”). By clicking on the “Pay now” button, the customer submits an offer to the operator to conclude an e-ticket contract. The operator accepts such an offer by sending a confirmation email to which a PDF for the printable e-ticket is attached. This concludes the e-ticket contract. The e-ticket is handed over to the customer by sending the confirmation email from the operator. The customer has the option of printing out the e-ticket using the attached PDF or saving it on their smartphone.

2.7. The e-ticket is only valid for the specified performance date (day, time, number of people). If the customer does not appear on the agreed date, the validity expires. A postponement is possible after conclusion of the contract.

2.8 Cancellation conditions: If canceled 24 hours before the visit, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded, thereafter the full amount will be charged.

2.9. These General Terms and Conditions are made available to the customer via a separate link or as a PDF download immediately before the declaration “I agree to the required booking conditions in order to complete the order” before the contract is concluded.

By clicking on the statement “I agree to the booking conditions required to complete the order”, the customer acknowledges his agreement to the application of these General Terms and Conditions.

3. prices & payment

3.1. The prices published on the website or at the checkout at the time the contract is concluded shall apply. All prices are in euros and include statutory VAT.

3.2. Payment can be made using the payment methods offered (e.g. credit card, Maestro, Sofortüberweisung, PayPal).

To ensure data security, data integrity and data transmission, purchase transactions are SSL-secured and subsequently processed by Adyen(https://www.adyen.com/).

3.3. If a payment is charged back before the start of the tour, the e-ticket will be declared invalid.

4. scope of services and opening hours

4.1. The operator reserves the right to temporarily close or modify individual areas or stations of the attraction for technical, maintenance or repair reasons, provided that this is reasonable for the overall visit and does not significantly change the character of the attraction.

4.2. The specified opening times are binding. If the visitor does not arrive on time at the booked start time, he/she is not entitled to claim compensation or a refund of the admission price if admission is no longer possible.

5. house rules and rules of conduct

5.1. The posted house rules apply within the attraction. The visitor undertakes to follow these and the instructions of the staff.

5.2. In particular, visitors are prohibited from

carry dangerous objects, weapons or fireworks,
animals (with the exception of assistance dogs),
smoke inside the attraction (including e-cigarettes),
consume food and drink unless explicitly permitted,
harass other visitors or staff or damage the facilities.

5.3. In the event of violations of the house rules or the instructions of the staff, the visitor may be expelled from the attraction without entitlement to a refund of the admission fee.

6. safety instructions for risk groups

The use of our attraction includes special effects in some stations such as seat movements, vibrations, strobe lights, loud noises as well as wind and water effects. There are two levels with approx. 50 steps to overcome in the course of the exhibition. Unfortunately, due to these structural restrictions (listed building), there is no accessibility.

For safety reasons and to protect your health, the following persons are NOT permitted or recommended to attend this screening:

Pregnant women
People with cardiovascular disease or who have suffered a heart attack
People with epilepsy or other light-sensitive diseases
People with back, neck or spinal problems
People who have recently undergone surgery
Persons who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
People with musculoskeletal restrictions

Please note:
If you suffer from any of the above conditions or have health concerns, please refrain from using the attraction. The staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

7. disclaimer

7.1. Visiting the attraction is at your own risk.

7.2. The operator is only liable for damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent behavior on the part of the operator or its vicarious agents.

7.3. Liability for slight negligence, indirect damage, loss of profit or consequential damage is excluded, insofar as this does not conflict with mandatory consumer protection law.

7.4. The operator accepts no liability for items brought in by visitors (checkroom, valuables, etc.).

8. data protection

8.1. The operator processes customers’ personal data exclusively within the framework of the statutory provisions (GDPR). Secure transmission methods (SSL) are used.

9 Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

9.1. The law of the Republic of Austria shall apply exclusively, excluding the conflict of laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

9.2. If the customer is an entrepreneur, the exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of the operator. For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction shall apply.

10 Other provisions

10.1. Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
